When we say “surprise gig”, we aren’t kidding… and believe it or not, we were as surprised as anyone! Let us explain: It was a Friday evening. We were sitting around the table sharing a pizza and getting ready to practice for our gig coming up the next day in Hazleton, PA, when the phone rang… It was our friend Tom saying the Number 5 needed a band to sub *that night*, and were we up for it? You bet we were. We left the pizza on the table, scrambled to make the various arrangements necessary with all of our schedules, and within a couple of hours, Bam! There we were onstage at the Number 5. It was a blast, and we look forward to playing there again–hopefully with a little more notice next time 🙂 It’s a great venue, with a beautiful dance floor, a fun crowd, a warm atmosphere, and a fairly racy painting on the wall facing the band… check out the slideshow below if you don’t know what we’re talking about!
